Bios:
Dr. Matthijs Bal is a professor of responsible management at the university of Lincoln, United Kingdom. Previously he has been affiliated to the universities of Bath, UK, and Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Matthijs is a work psychologist with a PhD in Human Resource Management. His special interest is in the psychology of work, and he has recently published around the psychology of climate anxiety and inertia, and the need for more radical perspectives on the sustainable transformation of our economy and organizations.
Dr. Laura L. Bierema is a Professor in the College of Education in the University of Georgia’s program of Adult Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development. Laura’s research interests include workplace learning, career development, women's development, organization development, executive coaching, leadership, and critical human resource development. Laura holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from Michigan State University and a doctorate in adult education from the University of Georgia. She has over 160 publications, including ten books and the award-winning text Adult Learning: Linking Theory & Practice with Dr. Sharan B. Merriam. Laura served as Associate Dean for Academic Programs in the UGA College of Education from 2013-2017.
Dr. Isabel Rimanoczy has over 17 years experience working on the Sustainability Mindset, a concept she researched and developed, based on her research at Columbia University about the motivations and thinking of business leaders championing sustainability initiatives. She has authored numerous scholarly papers, book chapters and books for a professional and academic audience seeking to accelerate change by developing a mindset for a better world. She developed the Sustainability Mindset Indicator, a project that was awarded First Prize in 2018 at the international forum Reimagine Education, sponsored by Wharton University and QS, UK. Three years later, the fully developed Indicator received the Bronze Award.
