Bios:

  • Dr. Hannah Love is a team scientist and professional facilitator. She works full-time doing team science consulting and science facilitation with Divergent Science LLC. Hannah has a MS in students affairs in higher education, a MA in sociology, and a Ph.D. in sociology from Colorado State University. Her background includes work in student affairs in higher education, water conflict facilitation, and non-profit fundraising. Hannah has 12-years of facilitation experience including experience in higher education facilitation, water conflict facilitation, and science facilitation. Since 2015 she has been using her skills in higher education to design team science trainings, retreats, and workshops for scientific teams.

  • Dr. Alina M. Waite is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Development and Performance Technologies in the College of Technology at Indiana State University. She is Faculty Fellow to the Dean's Office and a Fulbright Specialist. Dr. Waite recently served as the Graduate Program Director in HRD from 2017 to 2020. Dr. Waite has been an active member of the Academy of Human Resource Development since 2005 and regularly carries out professional service including a second three-year term as Associate Editor of the Advances in Developing Human Resources journal. Prior to beginning an academic career, Dr. Waite held a variety of leadership positions in Europe and the USA, and was the Director of Research and Development of an international organization specializing in the design, development, and manufacture of medical devices. In this role she was responsible for managing the product pipeline, handling budgetary and staffing issues, and overseeing the general operations of a satellite R&D facility. Dr. Waite’s interest in STEM is ongoing. Dr. Waite has taught a variety of courses to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students including leadership, fundamentals of technological innovation, professional internship, research methods, technology and international development, performance consulting, and strategic HRD.

  • Dr. Jill Zarestky is an Associate Professor of Adult Education and Training in the Colorado State University School of Education. Zarestky holds a Ph.D. in educational human resource development and a M.S. in computational and applied mathematics. Her research interests include nonformal and community-based education, with emphasis on sustainability and adult STEM education and funding from the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Zarestky was the 2019 recipient of the Commission of Professors of Adult Education Early Career Award and the 2020 recipient of the University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education Assistant Professor Award.
