Bios:

  • Dr. Bhagyashree Barhate is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Human Capital Development in the College of Business and Economic Development at the University of Southern Mississippi. Bhagyashree has a Ph.D. in Educational Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University, College Station, and her research explores career development and leadership development, especially pertaining to women and Generation Z. She has published her research in Human Resource Development journals and garnered over 650 citations so far. She also has numerous conference presentations in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

  • Dr. Rajashi Ghosh is an Associate Professor in the Adult Learning & Leadership program in the Department of Organization and Leadership in Teachers College, Columbia University. Rajashi was formerly Associate Professor of Human Resource Development (HRD) and Department Chair of Policy, Organization, and Leadership (POL) department at Drexel University. Rajashi’s research explores how different developmental initiatives can facilitate workplace learning and development through building inclusive relational spaces and countering the prevalence of workplace incivility and her work has been published in several high-impact peer-reviewed journals. Rajashi’s work is interdisciplinary, as evidenced by the different awards she has received from the American Educational Research Association, the Academy of Management, the National Science Foundation (and most recently the 2022 AHRD Wayne Pace Book of the Year Award. Rajashi is the Editor-in-chief of the journal Human Resource Development International.

  • Dr. Yuanlu Niu is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource and Workforce Development at the University of Arkansas in the United States. Yuanlu holds a Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Workforce Education and Development and an MBA from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She conducts both qualitative and quantitative research on individuals’ professional growth in the international workplace including barriers to women’s career development, employability as an outcome of career development; and career development interventions at both individual and organizational levels.
