Bios:
Dr. Dionne Rosser-Mims is a Professor and Vice Chancellor for the Troy University Phenix City Campus. Dionne has authored four books, including the 2020 co-edited publication titled Pathways into the Political Arena: The Perspectives of Global Women Leaders. She is the co-founder and former co-editor in chief of Dialogues in Social Justice: An Adult Education Journal. Prior to Troy University, Dionne held a faculty position at the University of Georgia’s Fanning Institute for Leadership where she worked on projects targeting communities suffering from economic, educational, and social disparities by providing program development, leadership training, and facilitation services.
Dr. Greg Wang is a Professor of HRD in Soules College of Business, the University of Texas at Tyler. Before his academia appointment, Greg worked at GE, Motorola and in HRD consulting businesses in international arenas. Greg recently made groundbreaking contributions to HRD theory building - his decade-long research on redefining and theorizing HRD challenged mainstream assumptions and developed a general theory of HRD. Greg’s research interest includes HRD practice/research assessment, economics of HRD, cross-cultural studies, HRD ethics, and innovations in HRD. Greg has served various leadership roles in the Academy of Human Resource Development, including on the Board of Directors as well as multiple editorial positions for all four AHRD journals.
Dr. Maxim Voronov is a Professor of Organization Studies and Sustainability in The Schulich School of Business, York University, Canada. Maxim conducts research on the dynamics of social change at organizational, industry and societal levels, and is especially interested in how people and organizations deploy cultural resources to bring about or resist social change, and he has studied the role of emotions in social change, the role of social movements in creating popular support for local products, and organizations’ efforts to promote new ideas. Maxim’s work appears in such leading journals as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, and Harvard Business Review, among others.
