Bios:
Dr. Szufang Chuang is Associate Professor of Human Resource Development at Indiana State University and holds advanced degrees in technology management, human resource development, industrial education, and adult education. She is certified Human Resources Professional, Hospitality Supervisor, and Hospitality Trainer. She worked in Human Resource Management, Training and Development, and Academic Administrative positions at a private institution before joining ISU. She has published numerous journal articles, book chapters, conference proceeds, and invited presentations on various HRD topics and received AHRD Cutting Edge Award in 2016 and 2018. Her research interests included diverse workplace, adult learning, leadership development, human behavior, and technological impact on workforce.
Dr. Claretha Hughes is Professor of Human Resource and Workforce Development at the University of Arkansas. Her research interests include valuing people and technology in the workplace, technology development, diversity intelligence, learning technologies, and ethical and legal issues. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and books and has authored or co-authored 13 books. Claretha is a book proposal reviewer for SAGE, Emerald, IGI Global, and Palgrave Macmillan. She has a National Science Foundation Research in Formation of Engineers grant. Her PhD is from Virginia Tech, Master of Textiles from NC State University, B.A. from Clemson University, and MBA from University of Arkansas.
Prof. Jim Stewart is Professor of Human Resource Development at Liverpool Business School in the UK where his role is to provide mentoring support and research leadership for colleagues researching Human Resource Development and Management. Previous roles include Professor of HRD at Coventry University and similar roles at Leeds and at Nottingham Business Schools. Jim is former Chair and currently President of the University Forum for HRD. He was appointed the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Chief Examiner for Learning and Development in 2008 and is currently Chair of their Examination Board. He is author and co-editor of over 20 books on HRD as well as of numerous papers including chapter contributions, academic journal articles, and journal special issues which include four based on Critical HRD streams at the Critical Management Studies as well as the UFHRD/AHRD European conferences.
