Bios:
Dr. Valerie Anderson is Professor of Human Resource Development and Education at the University of Portsmouth in the UK. Her research interests include coaching, evaluation, employability, doctoral pedagogy and digital pedagogy. Prior to her academic life she worked in operational and consultancy roles and is committed to the integration of research, scholarship and practice. She is author of academic works as well as practitioner tools, webinars and reports. She is Co-Chair of the European University Forum for HRD and has leadership roles in the British Standards and International Standards Committees responsible for developing HRM standards and, specifically the first International Standard for Learning and Development in Organizations.
Dr. Ronan Carbery is Executive MBA Director at Cork University Business School, University College Cork, Ireland where he is also co-director of the Human Resource Research Centre. Ronan is co-editor of the European Journal of Training and Development. His research interests include gig work, learning and development, and talent development. His research has been published in outlets such as Human Resource Management Journal, Human Resource Management (US), Journal of Managerial Psychology, The International Journal of Human Resource Management, and International Small Business Journal. He was awarded the UCC College of Business and Law Researcher of Year award (mid-career) in 2021.
Dr. Jacek Miroński is full Professor in the Department of International Management in Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). Head of three Postgraduate Study Programs in Public Relations, Coaching, and Mentoring. He was Academic Director of the CEMS MIM Program, institute deputy director and head of department. His research and teaching interest focuses on Organizational Behavior and Management, Leadership, Business Communication and Cross-Cultural Management. Jacek Miroński has been teaching at undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, MBA, Ph.D. and executive levels: e.g. in SGH (Poland), University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management (USA), Aalto University (Finland), Modul University Vienna (Austria), ESADE University (Spain), FEP University of Porto (Portugal), LAU Lebanese American University (Lebanon), University of Rijeka (Croatia). Dr. Miroński received the Fulbright Scholarship at the Columbia University in New York (USA) and also received the Fulbright Senior Advanced Research Award to work on his research project at the University of Minnesota (USA).
