Bios:
Dr. Alexandre Ardichvili is Professor of HRD and Hellervik Endowed Chair in Leadership and Adult Career Development at the University of Minnesota in the United States. Alexandre is the recipient of the Academy of Human Resource Development Outstanding HRD Scholar Award and of numerous awards for research excellence. He has published four books and more than 100 articles and book chapters on international HRD, leadership, entrepreneurship, business ethics, sustainability, knowledge management, and the impact of Artificial Intelligence on learning and development.
Dr. Maria José Sousa is Pro-Rector for the Development of Distance Learning and Professor and Researcher at ISCTE at the University Institute of Lisbon in Portugal. Maria has co-authored more than 100 scientific articles and book chapters and is a guest editor for more than 5 special editions. She was President of the ISO Technical Committee 260 on Human Resources Management, and represented Portugal at the International Organization for Standardization. Maria is lead editor for the book “Future Health Scenarios: AI and Digital Technologies in Global Healthcare Systems”.
Dr. Uta Wilkens is Full Professor in Work, Human Resources and Leadership at the Institute of Work Science, Ruhr University Bochum in Germany. Uta gained her Ph.D. in Management and Economics from Chemnitz University of Technology. Her core research interest is related to the interplay of individual and organizational capabilities while adapting to change dynamics, especially to technological innovation. Since 2021, she is speaker of the competence center HUMAINE (the Human-centered AI network and Transfer-Hub of Ruhr valley), and she was recently appointed to the Acatech expert group on Learning Systems, a network of leading researchers in the field of artificial intelligence.
